Lettuce and Lime Catering is owned and operated by trained Australian chef, Jude van Jaarsveld.
Jude has been active in the catering industry for over 25 years. With a passion for cooking and food from an early age, it is the result of many years of hard work.
Her father, an accountant, used to do the cooking on the weekends, and Jude quickly succumbed to her passion for preparing and sharing fine food; learning as she went through many phases with her father: home-made pasta dough hung from broom sticks throughout the house, Chinese steamboat craze, bread making, Oriental cooking….and many more.
Jude’s passion and flair for cooking fine food has developed further during six years in Botswana working in the 5 star luxury lodge industry as Food & Beverage Manager.
After returning to Underberg in 2015, Jude started catering locally again as well as teaching domestic workers how to cook.
